just came back from jp, went to the body world exhibition today at the science centre, had a lovely macs breakfast

the seafood curry baked rice at bent10 jp is edible!!! :P

went to science centre yesterday with kiddo :) i dun noe how to describe it but i will look on the bright side of things :)

science centre was freaking crowded yesterday, even hwa chong students were there bringing small kids , but the whole trip was fun, i was just overwhelmed by what i discovered about my kiddo

anyway, i tink i attract kids, not in bad way hahaha

i made frends with a primary 5 kid and his little cute sister, very fun to talk to, i could talk to the older brother about science as he was pretty well read and the little sister was holding my hand realli comfortably even thou i was a stranger, anyway i was pretty sad to hand them over to their dad when we were leaving :))))

anyway, my kiddo wasnt very interested in science and was more interested in playing thou, i shall see what i can do about that...took some photos yesterday but i cant post any, but i will post one picture which had the drawing by the primary 5 kid i met yesterday :)

shall update about my first trip with kiddo before gng back to mugging for last stats exam :P

fetched him from home at 8am yesterday, he was so excited to go out that he was already standing at the gate , all ready to go, i was still sleepy from waking up so early, admired the stamina

anyway, bought him to the newly opened activity centre, there were games and macdonalds for every kid there, i met many other kids too, i mus say i really enjoyed myself there

the night before, i was kinda nervous on how it would turn up, but all the kiddos in the group were very loveable, and friendly, tink my little kiddo had fun himself too

had one girl came hugging me in the middle of the game and another girl followed me around , feel so wanted haha :p

i m glad the day went well, but i was super exhausted, my kiddo was not even the slightest tired, he was rather disappointed to go home after the event

will be bringing him to science centre on thursday,

exams will be over tml, cant wait for the freedom bells to ring :)))

was feeling rather listless, unmotivated to study, but now i have one big big reason to be motivated, haha tell you after the exams :)))

i mean, from primary school to jc, i always had to be frends or at least TALK to people i dun like, so for once, in uni, can i have the freedom to choose who i wanna to talk to, who i wanna avoid with my life???

its not the problem for being sociable or not, i tink it should be about my feelings for once

realli stressed up or frustrated with things, exams, physically and mentally frustrated, need a break, realli need to loosen up during the shorty dec holidays, i realli need

met my little kiddo todae again :) i dun realli know how to describe the feeling of it but i m happy :)

chatted a little with him and he showed me where he bought his game cards from, his bday is on this coming monday but i have class on that day so i bought him a little choco cake from the nearby bakery

he is so innocent that it makes me feel so old sometimes, anyway i asked him is there anywhere he wanted to go, so he said science centre , then i said he must have realli like science so i said okay, lets go during your dec holidays k and eat macs after the visit

then he said ok, i will saving money for the excursion, and then the surprising thing came, he asked how much is a Mac adult meal? so i said wow, u wanna eat an adult meal ah?

then he said, 'no, i was thinking of treating you to macs !!!'

i was like !!!!!!!

so i told me, no need, jus save money for your own use, i will pay for my own meal :P

so yeah, he amazed and amused me with his innocence

and i learnt that he has a girlfriend in sch :))))

he is only 8 years old hahaha

exams are coming sooon!!!! stress again!!!

i so wanna go for this concert, FT Island is coming and i wanna hear hongki sing live :( but i haf a christmas party to go for that day, but i still wanna gooooooooooooooooo, tickets are like $85, the other VIP ones are SOLD OUT !!!

met my kid on mon, he is realli friendly and nice, i m not suppose to disclose info about him so i shall jus name him K. :) the first meeting went well and he could talk to me like a frend

i was freaking happy when he asked me when will i see him again, even the full time volunteer tink its a good sign that he asked :))) i shall see him on sat again, tis time i m on my own, shall find out more about his likes before deciding where to bring him to

i was smiling all the way home haha

next week is the last week before the reading week, gotta start with all the revision

first of all, my bday was on monday but i had sch till 6pm, so whole day was spent in sch, miserable :( but a big thank you for everyone who wished me a happy bday :)

thanks to rena, val, jiaying, aishah, my family , zhixue on facebook, i was surprised :)

anyway, my dad treated us to Kuishin-bo at jp on tuesday :P

the mussels were realli nice and juicy, i m hungry now !!

the crabs were mediocre and salty, but of course, for kiasu and stupid people, they were piling tons on their plates even thou it wasnt fresh

the sashimi was okay lah, only the swordfish was really fresh, the salmon and tuna were only relatively acceptable...

BUT!!!! the chawanmushi is heavenly nice !!! i ate like 3 bowls of it, muahahaha :)))

i dun noe what u call this, but its kuan dong zhu, tasted ok lah, but taiwan 7-11's ones are nicer :)

the paper pot was horrible, the soup base was like soya sauce ???

bamboo clam, they have this hourly promotion when this realli funny song of ' Kuishin-bo 123, kuishin-bo 123' and everyone rushes to the counter to redeerm 'free' promotion food !!!

follow by : Labrador rocky shore practical

labrador rocky shores has been sealed off, so no more disturbance to the public, we got special permission to go there for the fieldtrip :)

we were divided into 3 groups, i was in the mid littorial zone, supposed to find organisms living in that zone in the 3 quadrats we randomly selected

the sun set really soon, so we were in darkness pretty quickly, couldnt take much pictures coz i didnt wanna use flash in case i scare the animals, but we found lots of crabs : sponge crab, hairy crab and this really mini one that is half the size of my pinky nail :)

 we also found lots of fireworms, but they were too dangerous to be handled so we merely counted them and left them there...

oh yeah and one of the groups caught this red eyed crab, it was really ferocious and keep climbing of the tray and waving its pincers dangerously >.<

next : Pulau Ubin fieldtrip yesterday :)

went to pulau ubin for fieldtrip, woke up at a historical time of 5.30am to meet frends at je mrt at 6.20am, sch bus to changi

we went there for bird watching :P realli interesting

each one of us was given a binoculars on monday, i had fun playing with it all week, returning it on monday, so sad :(

saw crimson sunbird, grey heron, straw headed bulbul, parakeets and so on , oh yeah and an oriental whip snake :))

at the quarry-lake, where all the herons are nesting and perching

herons at the distance :( so unclear, i wan one of those really cool cameras

and fiddler crabs !!! males waving their bright orange huge princers around to attract females :)

started on wed, thank god its odd week and i haf no microbio prac on thurs, haix

since recovered a little , the fever is gone, but sore throat and cough still there to torment me further :(

hope i can recover by mon, if not how to go labrador park on wed, will be a super tiring week ahead, hope i dun fall sick again :)
